FAREEZ GIGA is a New York City based architect and interior designer with over 11 years of experience in the design industry.
His successful projects result from his skills in designing custom millwork and furniture, carefully coordinating with consultants, working closely with contractors and fabricators and expertly sourcing materials, fixtures and furnishings. His residential projects span various scales, including singular room renovations, full home gut renovations and designs for new-builds throughout the United States.
Giga founded his eponymous firm, Fareez Giga Design, in 2013. He believes in crafting thoughtfully designed spaces through both precise architectural interventions and considered interior curation that evokes a sense of joy. His practice uses texture, material, color and light as the materials of transformation to enrich everyday spaces.
Giga is also a Senior Associate at Diller Scofidio + Renfro, where he works closely with Elizabeth Diller and Charles Renfro on designing the firm's cultural and urban projects. His realized designs include the Museum of Modern Art expansion as well as Google’s new offices at Pier 57 in NYC.
Giga received a Master of Architecture from Harvard University Graduate School of Design and a Bachelors of Engineering from Stanford University.
